Policy & Regulations

Cleveland School Of Rhythmic Arts

We are happy to welcome you to our school and delighted at an opportunity to work with your children.
We have implemented several Policies and Procedures to assure that the training goes smoothly and your child is happy.

General Policies:

  • A child cannot be on the carpet until the parent fills out our tryout form/registration form. The form includes a liability waiver that is essential to our business.
  • Our dress code: Black cotton top and shorts, warm up Leggins and white socks. Gymnasts must pull their hair off their face into a short ponytail or a bun. No jewelry allowed, except small stud earrings. We allow gymnasts to wear warm jackets for warm-up time only.
  • Students waiting for a class should remain in the waiting area until called into the gym by a coach. Our rules also forbid gum, food, or drinks on the carpet.
  • We ask parents not to call or talk to coaches during practice time.  Coaches are working with your children and should not be distracted. Coaches usually come out to the common area after each class and will answer your questions, or for that we have specific meeting times.  If you need to pick up your child early, please let the head coach know at the time of drop-off or ahead of time in the day.
  • All students are expected to arrive on time or even 5-10 minutes before the start of practice to prepare and warm up. Late arrivals disrupt practice and affect the group’s progress. Parents should plan accordingly to ensure students are on time.
  • We ask that all students participate in rolling and unrolling the carpets so that the responsibility doesn’t fall on just a few individuals. This process is a great opportunity for team bonding and encourages everyone to work together. Additionally, we kindly ask parents, if possible and if they have the time, to assist with the carpets as well. Your involvement not only helps things run smoothly but also gives a sense of community within our gymnastics school. We always ensure the process is safe and enjoyable for everyone involved.
  • All team members must be respectful of coaches at all times. They also must be willing to accept and follow a coach’s corrections.
  • All team members must be respectful and supportive of their teammates.
  • Team members must have their own set of equipment and toe-shoes. Gymnasts should also have everything available at every practice.
  • Tuition payment is due on 1st of each month.
  • Tuition fees are not refundable. Missed classes due to illness, vacation, or for any other reason are not credited. Make up classes are available to all students.
